Yeongnamnu Pavilion

Two-storey riverside pavilion counted among Korea's great scenic pavilions.

Yeongnamnu Pavilion is Miryang's signature sight, a large two-storey wooden pavilion standing on a cliff above the Miryang River. It is a fine place to understand the town at once: river below, low city around it, and hills beyond.

The present pavilion was rebuilt in 1884, though the site goes back much further as part of the old Yeongnamsa Temple complex. Come for the view and the quiet, not a long museum visit.
