Suanbo Hot Springs is the reason Suanbo exists as a travel stop. The water comes up hot enough to feed public baths, hotel baths, outdoor pools, and small family-bath rooms without the resort gloss found in larger spa towns.
The pleasure is simple: soak after a cold-weather hike, then walk back through the compact hot-spring district for dinner. It is not a place to rush. Bring the usual Korean bathhouse modesty and expect the best experience to be practical rather than fancy.
