Chiak Mountain is the main peak area of Chiaksan, a rugged mountain landscape east of Wonju with steep valleys, forest trails, and temple sites such as Guryongsa and Sangwonsa nearby. It is best treated as a hiking day rather than a quick roadside viewpoint.
