Sogeumsan Grand Valley is the place to go when Wonju needs a bit of adrenaline. Its suspension bridge hangs 100 metres above the valley and runs 200 metres across, with skywalk viewpoints and forested slopes around it.
It is popular and very managed, so do not expect wilderness. Go for the height, the views, and the easy drama of being suspended above the valley without needing a hard mountain route.
