Chike Mountain rises east of Yuli and is best known for its seasonal flower fields, especially the orange daylilies that cover the slopes when they bloom. The road is narrow in places, but the reward is a high view back across the East Rift Valley.
It is a selective stop outside the main season, but at the right time of year it gives Yuli a strong countryside counterpoint to the bikeway and hot springs.
