A roadside viewpoint on the steep coastal road that climbs north out of Patong toward Kamala Beach. The wooden platform looks straight down the long crescent of Patong Bay — best at sunset when the lights of Patong and the silhouettes of longtail boats on the bay come together.
A few drinks vendors set up here in the late afternoon. The road is narrow and the layby small, so take care if you stop on a scooter. Easy to combine with a sunset dinner on the cliffs at Baan Rim Pa or one of the nearby resorts.
