Ho Thewalai Mahakaset is a small Sukhothai-period temple ruin west of the Or Gate. Its name means the Building of the God or the Palace of the Gods in the Field.
The remaining mondop has eight brick columns set on a sturdy base. It is a minor stop compared with Sukhothai's main temples, but worthwhile while tracing the western side of the old city.
