Wat Chana Songkhram is a compact temple ruin just north of Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai Historical Park. Its name means "Temple of the Won War", and the site is centred on one of the larger chedis in the old city.
Because it sits so close to Wat Mahathat, it is best treated as part of a slow circuit through the central zone rather than as a separate trip. Stop for a few minutes to compare its simpler plan with the grander royal temple beside it.
