Ban Krut Beach

The more developed of Bang Saphan's two beach villages, backed by casuarina trees

Ban Krut (also spelled Baan Krut) is a quiet village about 20 km north of Bang Saphan proper, with a long, well-maintained stretch of sand backed by casuarina trees. It has more resorts and a better spread of seafood restaurants than Bang Saphan itself, without ever feeling crowded.

The beach is flat and safe for swimming most of the year, and the pace here is deliberately slow — a place for reading in a hammock rather than nightlife.
