Bang Saphan's remoteness is part of the appeal, but it takes some commitment to reach. Most visitors come by road from Bangkok, a five- to six-hour drive or express bus ride, or by the coastal train line that also serves Hua Hin further north. Many break the journey with a night in Hua Hin or Pranburi along the way.
