Pran Buri Railway Station is not a grand sight, but it anchors the town in the old southern railway corridor. If you are travelling slowly down the Gulf coast, arriving here by train gives Pranburi a better first impression than arriving on the highway.
The station is useful rather than essential: a place to connect with local transport to Pak Nam Pran, the forest park, or the beach. Railway fans will appreciate the modest provincial-station atmosphere, especially compared with busier Hua Hin.
