Gedik Ahmet Pasha Imaret Mosque

Fifteenth-century Ottoman mosque and religious complex in the old centre.

Gedik Ahmet Pasha Imaret Mosque is the centrepiece of a late 15th-century Ottoman complex with a medrese, hospice, and hamam. It is less dramatic than the castle or Ulu Camii, but it helps fill out a good walk through the old city.

Look for it on Kurtuluş Caddesi, a short distance southeast of the castle hill.
