The Sultan Divani Mevlevihane Museum occupies a former lodge of the Mevlevi order, the Sufi brotherhood known in the West for whirling dervish ceremonies. It adds a different layer to the old town, beyond the fortress and Seljuk mosque.
The museum is small, but it is close to the centre and worth including on a walk around the castle slopes.
