Bergama Archaeology Museum is not large, but it helps make sense of the fragments scattered across the ancient city. Visit before the Acropolis if you want orientation, or after if you prefer seeing objects once the landscape is in your head.
The museum is especially useful for travellers who will not make it to the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, where some of the most famous pieces from the ancient city ended up.
