Palamutbükü

Long west-peninsula beach village with clear water and simple fish restaurants.

Palamutbükü is the longest beach settlement on the western Datça peninsula. The shore is pebbly rather than soft sand, but the water is clear, the hills feel close, and the village has enough restaurants and pensions to make it more than a quick swim stop.

It is a good base if you want the far end of the peninsula without staying in Datça town. For a day trip, combine it with Knidos and one or two smaller coves on the way back.
