Selinus Beach

Selinus Beach is Gazipasa's main town beach, a long sweep of sand and shingle west of the river mouth. The setting is better than the infrastructure: ancient Selinus rises nearby, the mountains sit close, and the beach has enough space to avoid the packed-resort feel of the Alanya coast.

It is good for a swim, a walk, or a lazy few hours after visiting the ruins. Bring water and shade in high summer, and check the sea before swimming; the beach can feel open and exposed when the wind is up.
