Liva Paşa Mansion is a restored late Ottoman house that now works as an ethnographic museum. Its rooms show household objects, local crafts, textiles, and details of nineteenth-century town life.
It is not a grand palace, but it fills an important gap in Kastamonu. After the mosques and castle, this is where the city starts to feel lived in.
