Nasrullah Mosque is the natural centre of old Kastamonu. Built in the early 1500s and restored in later centuries, it sits beside the river and the shortened remains of Nasrullah Bridge.
This is a good place to slow down rather than just tick off a monument. The surrounding streets hold small shops, older buildings, and the everyday traffic of the city.
