Kastro, also called Çamlıkoy, is the best coastal excursion from Kıyıköy: a broad sandy beach with pine forest behind it. Locals come for picnics and camping as much as swimming.
You need a car, since public transport is not useful here. Be careful in the water; the Black Sea currents can be stronger than the calm-looking beach suggests.
