Cape Jason, or Yason Burnu, is a small Black Sea headland west of Ordu, linked by name to Jason and the Argonauts. The setting does most of the work: open sea, wind, low grass, and a restored Greek Orthodox church standing near the point.
It is not a long visit, but it is a good one. Combine it with a slow drive along the coast, and time it for clear weather if you can.
