Paşaoğlu Mansion and Ethnography Museum

Paşaoğlu Mansion is Ordu's best small museum and its finest surviving 19th-century house. Built in 1896 for Paşaoğlu Hüseyin Efendi, it uses stone brought from Ünye, wood from Romania, and workmanship from Istanbul, which tells you something about the ambitions of Black Sea merchant families at the time.

Inside, the ethnography displays are modest but useful: domestic rooms, local clothing, household objects, and regional craft. The building is the main exhibit, so take time with the stonework and proportions before moving on.
