The Köprülü Canyon National Park occupies the gorge below Selge, carved by the Köprüçay River through limestone mountains. Two Roman bridges — the Oluk and Bugrum bridges — still span the river almost perfectly intact after 2,000 years, used daily by local traffic. White-water rafting is available from operators based at the canyon entrance (spring to autumn). The drive up the canyon road to Selge, past pine forest and sheer rock walls, is spectacular in itself.
