Silifke Castle crowns the hill west of the centre, where ancient and medieval builders controlled the Goksu valley. The walls have been battered and rebuilt over many centuries, but the outline is still strong.
Come mainly for the setting. From the hill you can read the city, river, plain, and coast road in one sweep.
