Uzuncaburc is the strongest inland excursion from Silifke, a hill village wrapped around the remains of ancient Olba-Diocaesarea. Temple columns, city walls, a theatre, and scattered Roman fragments sit among modern houses and fields.
It takes effort to reach without your own transport, but the looseness of the site is part of the appeal. This is archaeology still embedded in a working landscape.
