Cifte Minareli Medrese is more fragment than complete building, but the fragment is superb. The 13th-century school lost most of its structure, leaving the monumental gatehouse and two slender minarets standing above the square.
It sits almost opposite Sifaiye Medrese, so the contrast is immediate: one courtyard complex still in use, one grand facade surviving as an architectural memory. The pair is one of the reasons Sivas feels richer than its low profile suggests.
