Harmankaya Waterfalls sit in a green valley south of the city, where streams drop through damp forest and rocky gullies. The falls are at their best after rain, which is not exactly rare on this part of the Black Sea coast.
This is a rougher outing than the cave, so wear shoes that can handle mud and wet stone. It is most useful as a half-day break from Zonguldak's port and traffic.
