Bingara Museum is a small country museum rather than a blockbuster, but it gives useful context for the town's mining and pastoral history. It shares the Maitland Street site with the gem and mineral collection, so it is easy to pair the two. Opening times can be limited; ask at the visitor centre before you walk over.
