H F Batterham Memorial Lookout, also called Apex Lookout, is the easy view over Bingara and the Gwydir River country. The road up is steep and not ideal for caravans or long vehicles, but ordinary cars can make it in good weather. Bring lunch if you want to linger; there are picnic and barbecue facilities at the top.
