Gaskill Street is Canowindra's best walk. The most attractive stretch keeps the rhythm of an early 20th-century inland town, with wide verandas, low shopfronts, and a gently rising street that opens views toward the surrounding hills.
It is not a museum street, and that is part of the appeal. Shops, cafes, and old facades sit together without too much fuss.
