Seaton's Farm

Seaton's Farm sits in Weddin Mountains National Park, on poor country that Jim Seaton and his family worked through the Depression years. The rough sheds, handmade fencing, recycled iron, and improvised machinery are the point: it shows how hard a marginal farm could be, and how much ingenuity it took to keep one going.

Pair it with a drive into the Weddin Mountains or the short walks around Ben Hall's Cave. The farm gives the park a human story, not just views and picnic spots.
