Wildbrumby Distillery sits out toward Crackenback, on the road between Jindabyne and Thredbo. It makes schnapps, gin, and vodka with a Snowy Mountains accent: alpine water, local fruit, and a faint Austrian thread running through the place.
Come for a tasting, a meal, or a wander through the sculpture garden. It is not essential if you only have one mountain day, but it is a good soft landing when the weather closes in or your legs have had enough.
