The bore baths are the Ridge's best free ritual. Hot water rises from the Great Artesian Basin and fills outdoor pools on the edge of town, where travellers and locals soak away dust, stiff backs, and the long drive in.
Go late if you can. The water is hot enough to feel serious, the sky is usually wide, and the whole thing has the plain generosity of a town that knows exactly how good a bath can be after a day in the opal fields.
