Split Rock Dam

Split Rock Dam is the local inland-water escape, north of Manilla on the Manilla River. It was built for water supply, irrigation, and flood mitigation, but travellers come for the reservoir: boat ramps, fishing, camping, picnics, and broad views over dry hills and water.

It is not a manicured resort lake. That is part of the appeal. Conditions and access can change with water levels and weather, so check local advice before towing a boat or planning to camp.
