Narooma Kinema is a small-town cinema with more character than the usual multiplex. In a coastal place better known for beaches, inlets, and Montague Island trips, it gives evenings a useful fallback when the weather turns or you want something low-key.
Its appeal is partly nostalgia: the sense of a local picture house that still belongs to the community. Do not plan a trip around it, but keep it in mind if you are staying in Narooma for more than a night.
