The Fleet Air Arm Museum is Nowra's strongest specialist sight, set at HMAS Albatross south of town. It tells the story of Australian naval aviation through aircraft, helicopters, carrier material, and technical displays.
You do not need to be an aircraft obsessive to enjoy it, but it is especially good if you like machines with real service history. Check opening days before making the drive.
