Boat Beach is the calmest of the main Seal Rocks beaches. It is protected by the shape of the peninsula, so it often works when the ocean-facing beaches are too rough.
Fishing boats still launch here, which gives the beach a working feel as well as a pretty one. For a simple swim or a sit in the sand close to the village, this is the easy choice.
