Blue Bay Beach

Blue Bay is a small, sheltered beach on the southern edge of The Entrance district, tucked between the headland and the lake edge. It is quieter than the main beach at The Entrance and popular with local families precisely because it is less discovered. The water is generally calmer here too, making it a good swimming beach for children.

The beach sits at the end of a short walk from The Entrance township and has a small grassy reserve behind it with picnic facilities. The views north toward the town and south toward Shelly Beach are worth the walk even if you do not plan to swim.
