Bald Hill Lookout is one of the Illawarra coast's best-known viewpoints, with wide views over the escarpment, beaches, and the coast road south toward Wollongong. It is also a major hang-gliding launch site, so the view often comes with gliders circling above the headland.
It is a natural stop when driving between Royal National Park, the Sea Cliff Bridge, and Wollongong.
