Yamba Lighthouse stands on Pilot Hill above the Clarence River mouth, with the town on one side and the Pacific on the other. The current tower is modest, but the setting is the point: breakwalls, surf, river traffic and wide coastal views.
Come early or late when the light is low. The headland is also a good place to understand Yamba's geography before dropping down to Turners Beach or walking back through town.
