Ballinaclash Fruit and Wine is a working orchard, farm shop, and cellar door on the Olympic Highway south of Young. In season, it is one of the easiest ways to connect the town's cherry-capital label with actual fruit growing.
Check opening times and picking dates before you go, because the best reason to visit is seasonal. Outside harvest periods, the cellar door and local produce still make it a worthwhile stop if you are driving through the Hilltops region.
