The Scenic Rim Farmers Market runs on Saturday mornings in the centre of Beaudesert, with stalls selling olives, cheese and yoghurt from the surrounding dairy country, free-range pork, jams, sourdough, and seasonal fruit and vegetables from the Logan Valley farms. It is small — half a dozen rows of stalls in good weather — but a useful sample of the region and a fixture for locals.
There is usually live acoustic music and a coffee cart or two. The market wraps up by lunchtime, so plan an early start if you are heading on into the hills afterwards.
