Donnellys Castle is a cluster of huge granite boulders you can walk between, around, and over. It is much smaller than Girraween, but also easier: paths, picnic tables, and short scrambles make it a good stop if you have limited time or children with you.
Local stories link the rocks with bushranger Captain Thunderbolt. Even without the folklore, the narrow passages and open views make this one of the Granite Belt's better quick stops.
