Almonta Beach is one of the accessible highlights in Coffin Bay National Park, with pale sand, surf, and open coastal views near the southern end of the peninsula. It is a good choice if you want a taste of the park without committing to the rougher 4WD tracks farther north.
Conditions can be exposed and change quickly. Treat it as a wild beach rather than a resort beach, and keep an eye on surf and wind before swimming.
