The Round House is one of Murray Bridge's oldest surviving buildings, completed during the construction of the first bridge across the Murray River. Its odd shape and position above the water make it a natural first stop before walking the bridge and riverfront.
The building has served as a school, post office, church, and council chamber. Today it gives the town's bridge story a human scale, with gardens and river views that are worth lingering over.
