The foreshore is where Tumby Bay makes most sense. The water is sheltered, the sand is pale, and the jetty gives the town its familiar holiday rhythm: anglers, families, boats moving in and out, and locals using the shore as an outdoor living room.
Walk the path along the beach rather than treating it as a single viewpoint. It is an easy way to read the town and decide whether to swim, fish, or just sit in the shade.
