Tumby Bay Silo Art

Large silo mural of local children jumping from the jetty, painted on the town's grain silos.

The Tumby Bay silo mural is the town's headline sight. Painted by Martin Ron with Matt Gorrick and completed in 2018, it shows local children leaping from the jetty, a subject that fits the town far better than an abstract landmark would.

The silos stand near the entrance to town at Lincoln Highway and Bratten Road, with a viewing area set back from the road. It is a quick stop, but a good one, especially in late afternoon light.
