Fairy Cave is the more intimate Buchan cave, with narrower passages, more stairs, and close views of stalactites and stalagmites. It feels a little more like entering the cave system rather than being shown a grand chamber.
The tour is still set up for ordinary visitors, but it is less forgiving than Royal Cave if you dislike steps or confined corners. For many travelers that is exactly its appeal.
