Spring Creek Walk is the above-ground counterpoint to the cave tours, following limestone country and damp creekside vegetation inside Buchan Caves Reserve. It is short enough to add before or after a cave booking, but it helps explain the landscape that made the caves possible.
The walk also gives you a quieter side of the reserve once the tour groups move on. Bring water in hot weather; East Gippsland can feel much drier than the green cave setting suggests.
