Maryborough's 1874 railway station is absurdly grand for a town this size: long platforms, vaulted timber halls, and a scale that belongs to a much bigger city. It still sees passenger trains and also houses visitor services and food.
The station is the town's clearest goldfields statement. Even if you arrive by car, come here first.
