Collingwood Children's Farm is a working farm on the Yarra River, close enough to central Melbourne to feel slightly improbable. Families come for the animals, cow milking, gardens, and the slower country rhythm inside the inner city.
It is most worthwhile with children, but the riverside setting and monthly farmers market also make it a pleasant stop if you are already walking through Abbotsford and Collingwood.
